Follicular Unit Extraction, FUE, with the Perfect Graft system gently extracts individual follicles containing one or more hairs, one at a time. Hair from the back of the scalp is harvested and then placed in the areas where you desire more hair. These grafts are then implanted into thinning areas to regrow thick, healthy, natural hair. The difference between Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplants is vast! With FUT, the surgeon removes a strip of donor skin from which individual follicular units are transferred to the areas of hair loss. With FUE, individual follicular units are exercised directly from the scalp.
The procedure is minimally invasive, so your healing time is just 5 to 7 days with minimal pain for 2 to 3 days. You can return to work right away, with very few activity restrictions after the procedure. After your procedure, over time, your new hair will grow in the areas that are thinning, creating a fuller head of hair that showcases the natural look you want.
